Mandarin chicken rice recipe


• Frying pan

• Bowl

• Spoon for Cooking

• Grill

• Sauce pan.


• 2 skinless and boneless chicken breasts
• Oil, for pan-frying

• 2 TB Sugar

• 4 TB Soya Sauce


• Chopped scallion, for garnishing
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice

• 3 slices peeled ginger.


1. Heat up a pan-fry the chicken on both sides until cooked.

2. You may grill the chicken or pan-fry using a cast-iron grill pan.

3. Cool off and sliced into pieces, set aside.

4. Mix all the ingredients in a small sauce pan. Heat up on medium heat until the sauce slightly thickens. Discard the ginger slices.

5. Drizzle the Sauce on top of the chicken and garnish with the scallion. 6. Serve immediately with steamed rice.
